St. Patrick Cathedral welcomes you as you begin your inquiry into the Catholic faith!

People from all over the world and from all walks of life are doing precisely what you are doing right now…wondering if the Catholic Church can offer them deeper meaning and lasting fulfillment in their life.

Thanks to the Divine Person and work of Jesus Christ, we can…and St. Patrick Cathedral is excited about having the opportunity to share Him with you!

CLASSES BEGIN:  SEPT. 4, AND MEET EVERY TUESDAY AT 7 P.M.

If you have been questioning the meaning and purpose of your life, questioning your faith, or wondering about what can give you everlasting fulfillment and quiet the longings of your heart…please consider RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)! In RCIA, our goal is to share the Divine Person, teachings, and redemptive work of Jesus Christ for the purpose of preparing you to reflect on the grace that He awaits to bestow on you in order that you “may have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).

Throughout this journey of sharing Christ and His grace with you, RCIA will also prepare you (in stages) for full reception into the Catholic Church and the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist/First Holy Communion).

So, whether you are new to Catholicism or are a baptized Catholic but have never completed your sacramental preparation for First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation, RCIA is the place for you!!

the first step

The first “step” of inquiring further into the faith is scheduling a time to meet so that the RCIA journey can be explained in detail and all your questions can be answered. So, if you are interested in RCIA, please contact Patty Bransford at pbransford@stpatrickcathedral.org or call at 817-338-4441 Ext. 28.

We truly look forward to hearing from you!  May the peace of Christ be with you!
