Sunday Mass

Masses honoring the social distancing guidelines will be celebrated during the six normal Sunday Mass times:

8 a m. (reserved for 60 yr olds and older), 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. (Spanish), and 5 p.m. 

The number of congregants will be strictly enforced in the church per civil authority’s requirements and social distancing.

Daily and Saturday Mass

Daily Mass is 12:05 noon, Monday-Friday.  On Saturday, Mass is at 8 a.m. 

Monday - Friday:

Before the 12:05 pm Mass, the church will be opened at 11:15 am for the rosary at 11:30 am. It will be closed immediately after all have been dismissed in an orderly fashion from mass. 


Saturday morning, the church will be opened at 7:30 am and closed after all have been dismissed from the 8 am mass.



All Daily Masses -

Monday thru Friday at 12:05, and Saturday at 8 a.m.

Sunday Masses - 

Times to be streamed will vary and will be announced here each week by Saturday evening and on our Facebook page. 

Live-streamed Masses will stream simultaneously to 2 different locations:

Again, one is not required to leave your home to attend mass or receive communion. The obligation is dispensed with. But, we are wanting to begin in a very measured and prudent fashion to offer that opportunity, being mindful of social distancing and good hygiene.



Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.


The sacrament of reconciliation (penance) will be offered on these days in the Pastoral Center courtyard or inside the Parish Hall (depending on weather).


Tuesdays,  11 am - 11:50 am

Wednesdays,  11 am - 11:50 am

Saturdays,  4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

  • One will enter through the gate that one normally accesses the office.
  • Social distancing of no less than six feet must be maintained as you wait for confession.
  • All those wanting to go to confession must wear a face mask or equivalent face covering.

Days and times, week by week, are subject to change, so please do not just show up expecting confession without consulting a published schedule on the parish website or through flocknotes.

Estos serán los únicos días y horarios que se ofrecen esta semana a medida que lentamente y con prudencia comencemos a abrir nuevamente.

  • El distanciamiento social de no mones de seis pies debe mantenerse mientras espera la confesión.
  • Todos aquellos que quieran ir a confesarse deben usar una mascara facial o una cubierta facial equivalente.

san mateo chapel of ease

On the first Friday of each month, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be offered in order to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the Diocese of Fort Worth. Adoration will be led by priests or deacons from St. Patrick Cathedral. The first adoration service will be held Friday, October 4, 2019. Exposition and adoration will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. 

San Mateo will be open only during the scheduled times for Mass and adoration services. No other sacraments or religious services will be held there. 


El primer viernes de cada mes, se ofrecerá adoración al Santísimo Sacramento para orar por las vocaciones al sacerdocio y la vida religiosa en la Diócesis de Fort Worth. La adoración será dirigida por sacerdotes y diáconos de la Catedral de San Patricio. El primer servicio de adoración se llevará a cabo el viernes, 4 de octubre de 2019. Le exposición y adoración serán a partir de la 1 pm hasta las 4 pm.  

San Mateo estará abierto solo durante los horarios programados para los servicios de misa y adoración. Ningún otro sacramento o servicio religios se llevará a cabo allí.
