- St. Patrick’s Youth Confirmation Preparation runs from April - December every year.
- Most St. Patrick Youth begin formal Youth Confirmation classes in April of their sophomore year and receive Confirmation in November of their junior year.
- All who enter the Youth Confirmation Preparation are required to attend at least one year of Catholic religious formation the year prior to joining the Confirmation class.
- Classes the year prior may include, but are not limited to, parish religious formation classes or Catholic school or homeschool Religion/Theology classes.
- Classes are held on Sunday mornings (9:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
- in place of the regular St. Patrick Religious Formation classes. A required retreat will be held during the months of preparation. A required Day of Recollection will be held the day before the Sacrament is received.
Youth Confirmation CORE Team
- Parents and parish adults, we need your help! To have an effective Confirmation Preparation, it takes a team of dedicated and faith-filled individuals.
- As part of our Youth Confirmation CORE Team, we are looking for individuals who are willing to fill a variety of roles including, though not limited to:
- Assist with and/or coordinate hospitality for classes
- Assist in preparing and leading Confirmation classes, retreat(s), days of recollection, and service opportunities.
